This is another tree made for the Teldrassil project. I took a lot of inspiration from Polylepis, hence the name. Once again, it doesn't resemble the real tree 1:1, but heavily inspired by it.

One of the main reasons why I chose it is because I found its bark striking with its often vibrant reds and gnarled / wind swept sculptural looks. It grows in high altitudes and I thought it would fit Teldrassil perfectly. I didn't want it to look too tropical because there are many other areas in WoW that have a tropical jungle look and theme and I wanted this to feel different.

I threw together this scene fairly quickly to display the asset. Used a lot of the tech that I built for landscape and PCG to get this done, and was pretty happy with the result. I spent so long building the tools, felt good to just play around with them.
